Driving to Catherine's mom's house on the day of her wedding, the rain fell and I knew it was going to be a GOOD day. From getting ready to the first look, ceremony to reception, the clouds stuck around and gave us sprinkles of rain throughout the day.
These two ignored tradition and did things the way they wanted to on their wedding day. They walked down the aisle side by side and adopted a new last name together.
Their day was as beautiful as they are and I'm honored to have captured these moments.
Brian and Stephanie are a couple of rad lovebirds from LA. I loved getting to know these two this year! I met up with them over the summer in Joshua Tree to photograph their engagements and then they flew me out to beautiful Colorado to document their gorgeous wedding day.
I hope you enjoy this look of my time with them in California and Colorado.
The time spent with these two back in July was beautiful, sincere and joyful.
Before she was engaged to Hans, Joslyn dreamed of one day eloping in Big Sur with her love. So naturally, once Hans popped the question, Joslyn was excited to start planning her intimate elopement. She soon discovered, though, that Hans had always dreamed of having a larger wedding including his friends and family. So, they decided to do both!
Hans and Joslyn invited us along to capture both of these beautiful days; a larger wedding at Los Poblanos in Albuquerque, New Mexico, followed by intimate portraits on the coast in Big Sur, California.
Here's a glimpse into the wedding of both of their dreams!
Ghost Ranch is a magical place. If you've never been, you should go. It's beautiful and romantic! Ryan and Amanda were married there and it was lovely. These two are amazing. I'm honored to have been asked to photograph their day. So happy to call them my friends.
Zion National Park in southern Utah has always been somewhere that we've wanted to visit, so when Joslyn and Hans contacted us to photograph their engagement session there, we were beyond excited! If you've never been to this gorgeous park, go!
This couple is awesome! We are so happy to be photographing their elopement this coming summer.
Since the very first phone conversation I had with Ryan, I knew this couple was up for adventure! We can't stress enough the joy that comes with experiencing a new place with someone you love! It's a gift to photograph those moments.
Ryan and Amanda met us in an alien land called the Bisti Wilderness for their engagement photos. This uncharted, beautiful location was something amazing. Seriously, New Mexico's landscapes are unreal.
Joshua Tree, California is such a beautiful and unique place. There is something very magical about the desert.
I'm so happy that I was able to meet up with Carlos and Grace back in October and take these photos. These two are so much fun! They had me laughing during the whole session! I'm looking forward to more adventures with them.
We originally planned to do Nico and Fo's engagement session solely in Los Angeles where they live, but then they had the great idea to do another session in Sedona where they are planning their wedding for next year.
This two part engagement session was a blast. Nico and Fo are sweet, carefree, and just a joy to be around.
